rewards and recognition A to Z (Y=Year-long...)

Year-long: Think about the most appropriate timeframe for your reward and recognition programs. Traditional bonus programs have long been built around annual assessment. Successful recognition programs can be much more frequent and can be highly valued if centred around specific successful tasks. You may consider longer-term, larger rewards as a year-long target to inspire teams. Smaller, more easily attainable rewards or recognition may be provided along the way. Some successful programs will see small weekly, monthly or ad hoc rewards used as milestones which qualify staff to be in the running for a larger annual award.
