rewards and recognition A to Z (S=Systems...)

Systems: Whether your reward program is simple or sophisticated, local or global, it will need to be supported by sound IT systems. Don't let your system burden or bog down your program though. Think simply: information is more important than automation. The simplest of human interfaces are the best. Web 2.0 opens a world of possibly that encourages dialogue and participation. Web based portals are by far the most know and user-friendly vehicles to use. Use social media to promote the program; discuss the value of various rewards; and even to allocate rewards. If your workplace has not invested in broad based social media, simple chat rooms and even pulse surveys can become the backbone of your program.
